Randall "Randy" Boggs is the main antagonist of Pixar’s fourth full-length animated feature film Monsters, Inc. and a major antagonist in it's prequel film Monsters University.
He is the arch-nemesis of Sulley, Mr. Waternoose and Fungus' former leader and boss as well as a former employee at Monsters, Inc.
He is voiced by Steve Buscemi.
Physical Appearance[]
Randall resembles a lizard, with purple and blue skin, three antennae with pink tips on the top on his head and eight limbs, four arms and four legs. He can also camouflage like a chameleon.

Randall is first seen scaring Mike as well as laughing at him and said that it works on little kids and little monsters which caused Mike to lie to him saying that he wasn't scared as well as having allergies. Randall then reveals that he plans to break the record. When Mike tells Randall that he and Sulley will break the record first, Randall slushes Mike and asks him that the sound they're hearing is the Winds of Change as well as then leaving. Mike makes fun of Randall by mimicking him.
Later, Randall tries to become the New Top Scarer when he scares children in their bedrooms which he briefly succeeded before Sulley beats him due to being scarier than him given that he did scare a slumber party. After the monsters were done scaring children, Randall plans to revolutionize the scaring industry by kidnapping children. At that night, When Randall tries to kidnap Boo, he notices that Boo is missing due to Sulley stumbles upon the door.
At the restroom, Sulley, Mike and Boo discover about Randall's plans when his assistant Fungus tells him about Boo. When Mike had his foot in the toilet, Randall almost knocked all of the doors before Fungus tells him about Boo again. Randall tells him to pretend nothing happened and get the machine up and running while he deals with Boo. Randall and Fungus then leaves after that.
As Sulley and Mike started to search for Boo, they accidentally bumped into Randall who asks what they are doing, to which a worker tells him that they are rehearsing a play. Randall then pretends that he is not the reason why the monster world is spreading news about Boo by asking what they think of Boo coming to the monster world. As Sulley notices Boo while he is talking to Randall, Mike stall Randall by lying that Waxford is involved in his plans. After that, Celia angrily came at Mike yelling at him about her birthday. As the two argue, Randall finds out that Mike and Sulley are involved in his plans.
In the hallways, Mike is running away from Randall until Randall himself found Mike and tells him where Boo is, Mike then tells Randall that if he hadn't cheat last night, Boo will never get out. After hearing this, Randall makes a deal with Mike telling him that he must put Boo back in her room in order for him ambushed and kidnapped Boo.
At the scare floor, Mike and Sulley sees Boo's door, but Sulley refuse to return Boo to her room due to knowing that Randall is after Boo. When Mike tries to prove to Sulley that no one is in Boo's room, Randall accidentally kidnapped Mike (thinking that's Boo). Sulley then tries to rescue Mike by chasing Randall until he and Boo notice his secret lair. At the secret lair, Randall and Fungus collect the box and released Mike which he found out that he caught Mike instead of Boo. Randall tells Mike where Boo is, but Mike first corrects him that its's pronounced "creet-in" and then still believes that Randall is trying to break the record. Randall laughs to Mike and reveals that his plans, telling him that he is planning to revolutionize the scaring industry and when he succeeds, Sulley will be working for him (showing that he plans to be the new CEO of Monsters, Inc.). He then demands Mike where Boo is, but when Mike refuses, Randall decides to test the scream extractor on him before Sulley pulls off the plugs and put Fungus on the seat as well as rescuing Mike. Randall finds out about this and chased them.
When Waternoose brought a door to Sulley and Mike, he reveals that he is one of Randall's henchmen and banishes them. Back at the secret lair, Waternoose argues with Randall saying that he never should have trusted him with his plans since because of him, he had to banish Sulley but Randall said that with the machine, they don't need scarers and Sulley got what he deserved. Waternoose then said that Sulley was twice the scarer Randall will ever be in which caused Randall himself to be angry. Randall and Fungus later test the Scream Extractor on Boo before Sulley arrives and rescue Boo as well as throwing the Scream Extractor at Randall and his henchmen. Waternoose then orders his boss to stop Sulley which he did before Mike came back and throws a snowball at Randall. When Sulley briefly knocks out Randall as well as the heroes leaving, Waternoose orders Randall again and tells him that there can't be any witnesses and Randall replies there won't be.
At the scare floor, Randall chased Sulley and Mike when they got Boo's door before Celia lies to the other monsters that Randall has broken the scare record in order to help Sulley and Mike, but Randall chased Mike, Sulley and Boo through a door chase which is also before Randall is finally defeated and banished to the human world where a woman beats him up thinking he's an alligator.
